When I started AvidUnion it was supposed to be a business that would contribute to the betterment of the world's ecological health. One would wonder - How is a clothing company suppose to help with the health of the planet when it's one of the major contributors of its waste?

In my past posts, I hinted at the failures I had to face to get AvidUnion to where it is now. I have no regrets. Just great learnings from the process of the failure of the initial launch of my eco-conscience endeavor. But I have never given up on my pursuit of creating a business that supports both my living as well as the improvement of the ecological health of the earth and all its inhabitants.

I am a designer, an artist, and a marketer. Unfortunately, I am not a scientist nor an engineer that can give a solution to the crisis that our world is currently facing.

Yes, there is a crisis.

The conversation is growing, I see it everywhere I turn. But I believe I need more help. I believe there are many people like me who want to be a part of this change that is needed and believe that there is now a true solution. I don't know the right path to take when it comes to this crisis. All I know is that I must ACT! WE must ACT!

Together with anyone out there who feels the same way and willing to give an honest effort to create and support the community in the future we choose to build. WHO IS WITH ME?
